Roadhouse Rock and Blues Band

The 21st November has been announced as the the date for eagerly awaited return gig for the Roadhouse Rock and Blues Band at Ropers Bar, Lower Scotch Street, Dungannon.

The lads played recently to a packed house in The Central Bar, in Coalisland for the ‘The Bears’ anniversary gig.

With some new material and a top quality sound, this is sure to be a night not to be missed.


Street Ceili Back for More

Just when you thought the talk of The Street Ceili Festival was over for another year, the committee have organised a thankyou party for all the local communities of the three villages that took part this year!

The “Thank-you” night celebration is on tomorrow, November 13th at Askin’s Bar, Ballygawley and will kick off at 9pm.

A short reception will be held at 9.30pm by Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council to recognise the invaluable effort that the local comittee and community put in to make the Street Ceili Festival so successful in its second year! A light supper will be served after this, with music and craic all evening!
So, come on, put on those dancing shoes for one last time and dance your way down to Askin’s Bar.


Country 1st starring Hugo Duncan and friends
‘The wee man from Strabane’ is back and this time with a completely different line up of his friends from the country music world. Following the success of last years sell-out show it would be advisable to book early. Come along and enjoy the music and craic becase sure your Uncle Hugo love you. You will, You will, You will have a great time!!!!

Hugo’s friends for the show are country star Louise Morrisey, top selling recording artiste Martin Cuffe, rising fast on the circuit the fiddle playing and singing Helen McCabe, ‘the wee Laughing Policeman’ himself formerly of The Cadets Showband Gregory Donaghy, and of course Hill Billy Willy singing and performing some of the material of his good friend and very funny William Caulfield whose new album has just been released.
